My classes are informative, hands-on and interactive. I will tell you all of the things you want to know (and even the things you didn’t know you needed to know!) I’ll help you build a practical, balanced & holistic foundation.

Why choose an out-of-hospital birth class?

Hospital based classes are likely to be provider & policy oriented. They tend to avoid discussion on sensible suitable alternative options and controversial topics in today's maternity care. I have the flexibility to facilitate a class that takes into account all of the various experiences of childbirth- not just the families who are utilizing hospital tools and protocols. Personalized and private, we can focus exclusively on your needs and what matters most to you. My classes center your relationship and help bring you & your partner closer together. We can talk freely about your options, rights as a patient in any setting, finding your voice as a new parent, what to expect and what to avoid based on your personal history and values.

Where do we meet for the class?

The comfort of your own home! If you prefer we can meet virtually via Zoom for the majority of the class with the exception of the Comfort Measures module * This requires in person and hands on practice.
